These Terms & Conditions cover bookings, attendance and use of the Tasting Palma website and experiences. By booking with us you agree to these terms. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy.
General terms for all guests
By booking an experience with Tasting Palma you confirm that you:
- Have permission to register others and that all parties have reviewed our Privacy Policy.
- Will arrive at least 10 minutes early. Late arrivals cannot be admitted and no refunds are provided per our Cancellation Policy.
- Will dress appropriately, with flat shoes that cover your toes, minimal jewellery, and long hair tied back where relevant.
- Will not attend if unwell within 48 hours prior to the experience. Our Cancellation Policy still applies; substituting another person is encouraged.
- Understand that we may refuse admission or remove guests who are suspected of intoxication, substance use, illness, or inappropriate conduct, with no refunds or rescheduling.
- Will follow all hygiene and safety instructions and acknowledge personal responsibility for your own health and safety while at the venue.
- Will ensure that any ingredients suit your personal health needs and are properly transported, stored and prepared once you leave the kitchen.
- Will follow post-class instructions for any food, transportation, storage, reheating, cooking and consumption.
- Consent to photography and filming for our marketing purposes by EspaisRoca SL and affiliated companies. If you do not wish to appear in photography, please let your host know on arrival.
- Indemnify EspaisRoca SL and its employees for food preparation post-class, lost personal property, and injuries or damages.
- Understand that our liability does not exceed the total payment for the experience booked.
- Recognise that liability exclusions do not apply to negligence causing personal injury, death, or losses protected by law.
- Will respect age requirements: tastings serving alcohol (wine, gin) are 18+. Children 14+ may attend the cooking class and food tour with a paying adult.
- Only paying guests are permitted in the tasting room or kitchen during the experience.
- Alcohol is served only to those 18+; age verification may be requested. Responsible consumption is mandatory.
- May send a substitute if you notify us at least one business day before the experience with the substitute’s name, allergies, dietary requirements and any special needs.
Bookings and cancellations: public experiences
- 24 hours notice is required for a full refund or free rescheduling.
- Less than 24 hours notice: booking is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Bookings and cancellations: private group events
- A minimum charge and a minimum participant number apply regardless of actual attendance; the minimum varies by experience.
- Full payment is required at booking by credit or debit card.
- If you reduce participant numbers:
- 14+ days notice: 100% refund for removed participants
- Less than 14 days but 72+ hours notice: 50% refund for removed participants
- Less than 72 hours notice: no refund
- For full cancellation:
- 30+ days notice: 100% refund
- Less than 30 days but 14+ days notice: 50% refund
- Less than 14 days notice: no refund
- Increases in participant numbers require at least 5 days notice before the booking date; approval is discretionary and charges are applied immediately to the card on file.
- Final numbers and dietary requirements must be confirmed no later than 2 weeks before the start time.
Products purchased with experiences
- Additional products, including merchandise, services and beverages, may be available to purchase alongside your experience.
- Products are provided at the booked experience.
- The refund and cancellation policies above apply to product purchases.
- Alcohol service timing is determined by staff; our responsible consumption policy applies.
- We are responsible for supplying goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have concerns please contact us at experience@tastingpalma.com.
Food allergy policy
- Ingredients may contain or come into contact with wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, soya, shellfish and other allergens.
- You must inform us of any allergies and dietary requirements at the time of booking and confirm them on arrival. Substitutes must notify us in advance.
- An allergy-free work area is provided but you are ultimately responsible for avoiding allergens.
- We accept no responsibility for allergen management once food is taken away from the venue.
Gift cards and vouchers
- Available online or by phone.
- Balance and expiry can be verified online or by phone Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Receipt and voucher are delivered by email within 24 hours; please check your spam folder if not received.
- Vouchers expire 12 months from the date of purchase; keep your receipt as proof.
- Vouchers are valid only for the Tasting Palma experiences listed at the time of purchase.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Remaining balance after partial redemption stays on the voucher for future use; no cash refunds are made for partial redemptions.
- Redeem by entering your voucher code at checkout.
- You may cancel within 24 hours of purchase; refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days.
Gift experience vouchers
- Specific to the named experiences detailed on the voucher.
- Redeem through our online booking engine for the preferred date, entering your voucher as payment.
- Vouchers expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
- A confirmation email is sent within 24 hours.
- You may cancel within 24 hours of purchase; refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days.
Use of our website and content
You agree not to:
- Engage in illegal activity or infringe the rights of others. Permission is required to use our content, trademarks, logos, recipes or intellectual property. Without permission you may not record, photograph, copy, reproduce, download, store, distribute, transmit, broadcast, commercially exploit or modify our content. Our content is provided for private domestic use only.
- Reduce other guests’ enjoyment of our products or services through libellous content, breaches of privacy, harassment or distress.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or solicit or collect personal information about other users.
- Reformat or frame portions of the website.
- Copy or modify HTML code generating our website pages.
- Use devices or software that disrupt the website, networks or servers.
- Place unreasonable loads on our IT infrastructure.
- Modify, adapt, translate or reverse engineer portions of the website.
Website accuracy and availability
- We make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy and availability but cannot guarantee either. You rely on website information at your own risk. We may suspend or terminate operations without notice.
- Content is provided for enjoyment and information only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind.
- Hyperlinks to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content. Hyperlinks do not constitute endorsement.
Newsletter sign-up
- The newsletter is optional; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email footer.
- By subscribing you agree to receive communications from EspaisRoca SL and affiliated companies; follow the unsubscribe instructions to opt out.
Limitation on liability
- Except for unavoidable legal responsibility for death or personal injury, we are not liable for unforeseeable losses, losses not caused by our breach, business losses, indirect or consequential losses, or losses to non-consumers.
- Only the contracting parties have rights to enforce these terms.
Disputes
- Complaints should be submitted immediately via the website contact form. If unresolved we will provide any legally required alternative dispute resolution information. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/.
- Court proceedings are subject to Spanish jurisdiction; Spanish law applies. These terms are available in English only.
Breach of terms
A breach may result in investigation using your personal information, a formal warning, or access suspension.
Changes to these terms
- Last updated 30 June 2026. We may vary these terms without advance notice except where law requires consent before service provision.
- Updated terms displayed on the website are binding on users.
- Each version is filed; outdated versions are not displayed; users should retain their own copies.
