Rooted in Mallorcan Heritage
We believe the soul of a city is found in its kitchen. Tasting Palma was born from a desire to share authentic island flavours with those who travel to taste.
It started with a simple observation: visitors to Palma were eating well, but rarely had the chance to discover the stories behind the ingredients, the makers, and the techniques passed down through generations on the island.
Tasting Palma is based at Casa Roca, a historic boutique space in the heart of the Old Town. Our mission is to create somewhere that feels less like a commercial tasting room and more like being invited into the private kitchen of a local friend, who happens to be a fantastic host.
We work with a collective of passionate local makers, a 5th-generation island winemaker recovering rare native grapes, a family-run distillery in Sóller, a 75-year-old Mallorcan coffee roastery, and chef-led tours of Mercat de l’Olivar, to celebrate the rich gastronomic heritage of Mallorca.
