Everything you need to know before booking your Tasting Palma experience.

All tastings and the cooking class are hosted at Tasting Palma at Casa Roca, Calle Hostals 27, 07002 Palma, in the heart of the Old Town. Our small-group food tour and the chef-led Olivar Market tour begin in the Market Square outside Mercat de l’Olivar.

Mallorcan Gin Tasting: 60 minutes. Mallorcan Coffee Tasting: 75 minutes. Mallorcan Wine Tasting with Tapas: 90 minutes. Chef-Led Olivar Market Tour and Tapas Class: 4 hours. Small Group Gourmet Palma Food Tour: 4 hours.

Group sizes vary by experience. Gin and coffee tastings: up to 10 guests. Wine tasting: up to 16 guests. Cooking class: up to 8 guests. Food tour: up to 10 guests. Get in touch if you would like to enquire about a larger private group.

Yes. Every experience is built for guests of all levels. Tastings are guided and require no prior knowledge, and the cooking class is fully hands-on with the chef guiding each step.

Each experience includes all of the food, drinks, and tastings detailed on its page. The cooking class also includes a glass of Mallorcan wine with lunch, take-home recipes, and a Tasting Palma tote bag. Transport to and from Casa Roca is not included but can be added as an optional add-on.

Yes. Vegetarian and vegan options are available for the cooking class and food tour with prior notice. Most allergies and dietary requirements can be accommodated. Please tell us at the time of booking so we can plan properly.

All experiences are hosted in English and Spanish. Let us know your preference at booking and we will match you with the right host.

Yes. Each tasting includes its respective drinks: wines for the wine tasting, gins and Mallorcan liqueurs for the gin tasting, and six speciality coffees for the coffee tasting. Water is provided across every experience.

The cooking class, food tour and coffee tasting are open to all ages. The wine and gin tastings serve alcohol, so the minimum age for those experiences is 18.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your experience. Private and group experiences require 30 days notice. Within these windows, bookings are non-refundable but can be rescheduled where possible. Email experience@tastingpalma.com to cancel or change a booking.

Yes, we love group bookings. We can buy out any of our signature tastings or build a bespoke event for hen parties, milestone birthdays, corporate trips, family reunions and more. See our Groups page or email experience@tastingpalma.com.

All experiences are paid online at the time of booking. To gift an experience, head to our Gift Vouchers page: choose an open-value gift card or a specific experience and the voucher arrives by email the moment you buy.

Yes. With at least 24 hours notice we can reschedule public experiences free of charge, subject to availability. Private and group bookings require 30 days notice. Within these windows bookings cannot be rescheduled.

All tastings and the cooking class finish at Tasting Palma at Casa Roca, Casa Roca, Calle Hostals 27, 07002 Palma, Mallorca. The food tour and Olivar Market tour finish near Mercat de l’Olivar, a short walk back to Casa Roca.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time at the named meeting point. Late arrivals unfortunately cannot be admitted, our experiences run to a tight schedule out of respect for the rest of the group.

Our experiences are led by passionate Mallorcan hosts, chefs and makers, including a 5th-generation island winemaker for the wine tasting, the Cabraboc distillers from Sóller for the gin tasting, and the team behind a 75-year-old Mallorcan roastery for the coffee tasting.

Casa Roca is in the pedestrianised Old Town so there is no on-site parking. The nearest underground car parks are Parking Plaza Mayor and Parking Antoni Maura, both a short walk away. Public transport and taxis drop off at the entrance to Calle Hostals.

Due to space constraints, only paying guests are permitted in the tasting room or kitchen during an experience. Non-participating friends and family are welcome to meet you afterwards in Casa Roca for a drink.

No. Due to local alcohol and food safety regulations in Spain we cannot allow guests to bring their own ingredients, drinks or alcohol to consume at the venue. Every experience is built around the Mallorcan wines, gins, coffees and ingredients we have curated for you.

Wear comfortable, flat shoes (please avoid flip flops) and tie back long hair for hygiene if you are joining the cooking class. We provide aprons. Everything else is taken care of.

Yes, transfers to or from your hotel anywhere in the Palma metropolitan area can be added on for a fixed cost for up to four passengers. Let us know when you book and we will arrange it.

Yes. Every guest who joins the Chef-Led Olivar Market Tour and Tapas Class takes home a printed recipe pack and a Tasting Palma tote bag. Digital copies are emailed afterwards on request.
